An oasis of relaxation and cosmetic beauty expertise opens in Vasse Village

Sharing a combined experience of over 40 years between them, the team at Renew Skin & Beauty is delighted to offer the latest professional beauty and aesthetic treatments from their newly opened salon in Vasse Village.
A passion for helping people to feel better and more confident brought Sharon, Jackie and Paula together and open the first skin and beauty salon in Vasse Village.
Salon co-owner Jackie Mildenhall said they have been overwhelmed with the support and well wishes from the local community.
“I love working in the beauty Industry. It is such a great feeling to build up trust and a rapport with clients who feel comfortable and confident in the service you are providing for them”, said Jackie.
“Across the board whether it be waxing, tinting, tanning, facials or massages, skin consults or little pick-me-up treatments, people are willing to put more into themselves and to take time for themselves nowadays. Our little oasis nestled in Vasse Village, offers a professional yet comfortable retreat, where our clients can feel relaxed and at ease.
“Well before we even considered opening the doors, I knew that a salon such as this would be a fantastic addition to the Vasse community and wider catchment area.
“The response we have received since we opened has been amazing and the community spirit and vibe we have felt is one of support and encouragement.
Sharon Mayne is the other half of the dynamic duo behind Renew Skin & Beauty and agrees that Vasse Village stood out as a fantastic location and business opportunity for their new salon.
“What sets our salon apart is not just the level of expertise we offer, but the broad range of treatments we offer, from your traditional beauty services such as all types of waxing, tinting and tanning to specialised advanced skin treatments and injectables”, said Sharon.
“Procedures such as IPL hair removal and skin rejuvenation, chemical facial peels and dermal needling are far more mainstream now than they were even five years ago and I am really proud that we can offer these practices from our salon in Vasse Village.
“Having been a beauty therapy teacher and salon owner in the past I recognise the importance of continued training and upskilling to stay on top of the latest trends”.
Paula Tompkin joins Jackie and Sharon bringing her background as a cosmetic nurse and dermal therapist to the services available at Renew.
“I have always had an interest in the area of cosmetic and dermal science and retrained ten years ago when that part of beauty industry was really starting to emerge,” said Paula.
“I pride myself on providing high quality and highly effective treatments that are affordable and love to be able to share my love of skin and cosmetic treatments and technologies with clients.
“I focus on making people feel more positive through a combination of corrective skin therapies and enhancement techniques.
“Having worked previously in the world of plastic surgery, it gave me insight into how providing a solution to trauma and any resulting disfiguration can be an important part in confidence and self image.
“Skin is simply amazing – we can change it and regrow it through a continued approach to self care and looking after ourselves.
“Wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers and skin rejuvenation through peels and skin resurfacing are proofing popular along with product recommendations and educating people on how to properly take care of their skin at home.
“I’m excited that collectively we can offer these professional services in the newly established shopping district of Vasse.
“It’s a fantastic community in an established suburb and people want to have a full range of amenities on their doorstep”.
Renew Skin & Beauty is located at Unit 4, 19 Napoleon Promenade, accessed from the car parking areas at the rear of Vasse Medical Centre.
