Artist run workshops in Vasse Village

UPDATE: MRROS has been rescheduled for Spring 2020 due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Please see the media statement released by the organisation.
Following an emergency meeting of the Margaret River Region Open Studios board this morning, and significant communication with many of our artists over recent days, we have made the difficult, but we believe appropriate, decision to postpone this year’s Open Studios event. Whilst we do not have a mass audience, we feel that this is the most socially responsible course of action to take in this rapidly changing environment. We will reschedule the event to Spring 2020 and update our communications channels as appropriate. We encourage our event supporters to continue to engage with our artists via their social media channels and websites while they continue to produce new creative work, and thank them for their interest and support to date.

In a very exciting MRROS first, seven workshops will be held right here in Vasse Village! Adding to our diverse events schedule for 2020, people from all over Australia visiting the region will have the chance to take part in exclusive workshops directed by local artists, in the heart of Vasse.
Jackson’s Drawing Supplies & Vasse Village have partnered up to bring a choice of workshops, perfect for beginners or developing artists wanting to try something new.
The workshops will be run by local artists Dee Credaro, Stephany Durack and Cate Edwards on various dates from 28 April to 9 May. Keep an eye out on the Vasse Village Facebook page for further details.
