Japanese inspired small bar set to call Vasse Village home

One of the most highly anticipated additions to the Vasse Village main street will bring a thoughtful mix of traditional and modern dishes to their menu, offering tantalising options for brunch, lunch and dinner.

The small bar/ restaurant will be the anchor tenancy of the building now under construction on the Vasse Village Arcade, alongside the arcade.

The Origin 153 is set to open before Christmas this year and will be run by locals Sunny & Hayden, offering a Japanese fine dining experience like no other in the region. Takeaway options will also be available for extra convenience.

“We have over 15 years of experience in Japanese cuisine and locals can expect Japanese creations of the highest quality” said Head Chef Sunny.

“Menu items will include traditional favourites such as fresh sushi, sashimi, nigiri, bento, ramen and signature Origin 153 salads.

“If that doesn’t have your mouth watering already, exquisite Japanese fusion dessert options and a variety of traditional Kimchi side options will also be incorporated on the menu.

“Completing our small bar offering, a thoughtfully curated drinks list will be available showcasing wines, local beers and, of course, traditional Japanese Sake. Wine pairing recommendations will also be provided by a local oenologist”.

The authenticity and ambience of The Origin 153 will be enhanced by the interior design, which will feature enchanting ceramic installations & decorations.

Trending in East Asia, the ceramic works will be created by a ceramic consultant with over 30 years’ experience and will include custom made ceramic serving ware, completing a truly authentic dining experience.

With a beautiful alfresco area to the rear and magnificent bi-fold interface to the Vasse Village Arcade and Napoleon Promenade, The Origin 153 is set to become a vibrant and well received addition to the already thriving Village precinct.
