Local, family hairdresser relocates into Vasse Village

Spotting the potential at Vasse more than 11 years ago, local hairdresser Elaine Atkinson has now relocated her family-friendly salon to Vasse Village.
Formally known as Hair at Monaghans, Hair at Vasse is Elaine’s latest venture in her 35-year hairdressing career.
“Vasse has so much to offer and as a local resident I love the vibe and atmosphere of our community”, said Elaine.
“I initially signed an expression of interest to open a salon in Vasse Village in 2007 and I am thrilled that it has now come to fruition”, said Elaine.
“This salon is a more intimate setting than my previous space, and I love being able to offer my clients that one-on-one experience and attention to detail.
“Having been in the hairdressing business for over three decades, I have found that my clients are comfortable in how I operate my salon and trust my experience and intuition of what they really want from their visit to the salon.
“While it is good to encourage clients to try something new or go in a new direction with their haircut, you also have to reconsider their individual hair type.
“Being able to give them my full focus and making them feel good about themselves is my priority.
“I have long term friendships that have been formed over the years with my regular clients, with trust and confidence in my ability highly valued.
“I love that my clients feel more like family and look forward to meeting new clients and of course my regulars who have made the move with me to Vasse”.
“In previous roles and salons I have trained many apprentices and always tell them – hair is the outfit you can never take off!
Hair at Vasse is located along the arcade sidewalk at 9 Napoleon Promenade, joining fellow personal and beauty providers Renew Skin & Beauty, Nifty Nails and Cinco Hair Boutique in Vasse Village.
