Operated by Tracey Rush, Magpie Coffee Café opened mid-April and is proving to be a bustling addition to the Village since.

“Our point of difference is an evolving menu. Our customers can come in every day of the week and have something new, fresh and homemade to choose from.

“Of course we also have our regular menu with quiches, salads and daily breakfast and lunch specials, along with locally roasted Yahava Coffee and a tempting display of desserts and goodies.

“We wanted to provide all members of the community with choice and variety from their local café and we have received fantastic feedback, with a couple of standout favourite lunches already becoming apparent.

“We are working hard to ensure that all dietary preferences are catered for with mainstream menu options with plenty of raw, gluten free and dairy free choices available each day.

“Our best selling cake has got to be Prue’s infamous lemon cheesecake that disappears as soon as it appears in the fridge!

“We also offer local business lunch catering options, with all of our daily selections available to order and special requests available with advance notice”.

For Tracey retail is in her blood, having worked for many years in her parents’ shops, the reputable Callows Newsagencies.

“It is exciting being part of Vasse Village at this stage of the development, with new businesses coming to life and the streetscape taking shape.

“We have noticed a steady increase in our customer base and are installing an indoor breakfast bar in the coming weeks to cater for more customers in our café.

“Also just arrived this week, our Magpie Coffee Café loyalty cards – make sure you pick up yours next time you get your caffeine fix”.

Magpie Coffee Café along with newly opened Cinco Hair Boutique join Vasse Village Lotto & News, Vasse Medical Centre, Vasse Pharmacy, Latitude 33.7 Physiotherapy, Coles Supermarket and McDonalds on Napoleon Promenade in Vasse Village.
