The Origin 153 set to open

The highly anticipated The Origin 153 is set to open next week on December 12th bringing a thoughtful mix of traditional and modern dishes to their menu, offering tantalising options for brunch, lunch and dinner.

Owned and operated by locals Sunny & Hayden, the restaurant will bring a long awaited offering of exquisite Japanese cuisine like no other in the region. Takeaway options will also be available for extra convenience.

“We have over 15 years of experience in Japanese cuisine and locals can expect Japanese creations of the highest quality” said Head Chef Sunny.

“The Origin 153 will bring the joy of not only traditional, but also innovative modern Japanese tastes which include Sushi, Sashimi, Nigiri, new styles of Japanese BBQ, Japanese deep-fries, Japanese rice bowls with various toppings, Origin style salad with Origin special dressing, Bento and Japanese noodle (Ramen) to name a few.

“Completing our small bar offering, a thoughtfully curated drinks list will be available showcasing wines, local beers and, of course, traditional Japanese Sake. Wine pairing recommendations will also be provided by a local oenologist”.

Authentic ceramic installations and decorations which will also be available for purchase, will add to the ambience of the restaurant. Trending in East Asia, the ceramic works will be created by a ceramic consultant with over 30 years’ experience and will include custom made ceramic serving ware, completing a truly authentic dining experience.

With both alfresco and street side dining options, The Origin 153 is sure to become a vibrant addition to the Village precinct.
